Each Pathfinder Sermon Study Series app offers a complete Small Group/Sunday School lesson constructed around an engaging, relevant sermon from one of the great preachers of the past with included commentary, scriptural and historical references.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THIS COURSE
- Four weekly lessons on the origins and effects of sin featuring George Whitefield's sermon The Seed of the Woman, and the Seed of the Serpent
* Each lesson is broken down into four sections: Focus, Exploration, Application, and Conclusion.
The Focus section introduces the lesson and its main topic(s).
The Exploration section is where selected sermon excerpts and supporting scriptures are explored.
The Application section is where you will instruct the class on life application of what was studied in the Focus and Exploration sections.
The Conclusion section concludes the lesson. Here you should ask for final questions, and give a gospel message.
* Pathfinder guides your instruction with four color-coded tasks: Action. Ask, Read, and State.
Action - When you need to give your class direction.
Ask - Questions you should ask the class. Each "Ask" task includes discussion prompts to aid in motivating student participation.
Read - Text that should be read by you or a student.
State - Statements you should make to your class. These will represent the heart of your teaching.
